The Old Scotch Collegians’ Association congratulates members of the Scotch Family who were recently awarded Australia Day Honours on 26 January 2024:
John Craig received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to cricket. John is a past student from the Class of 1960.
William Lyle received an OAM for service to the creative arts as a sculptor. William is a past student from the Class of 1950.
Dr Sandra Close was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to the mining and resources sector, women as an equal opportunity pioneer and advocate, and to professional associations. Sandra is a past parent of identical twins, Cameron and Giles Pollock from the Class of 2002.
